What is Flow With Me

"Flow With Me" is a mobility training program created by Heather Zilbert. Heather incorporated her training as an Artistic Swimming coach, into a fitness program that focuses on mobility and strength. Her years of training athletes and teaching fitness, gave her a front row seat to view the relationship between higher performance and injury prevention. This fueled her passion to share her knowledge with others looking to improve their everyday functional fitness. "Flow With Me" is fitness training that focuses on improving and maintaining the full range of motion and function of your joints and muscles. It is often used in conjunction with strength and endurance training, but can also be done on its own.

Why Flow With Me

There are numerous benefits to incorporating mobility training into your exercise routine, including:

  1. Improved flexibility: Mobility exercises help to stretch and lengthen muscles, which can improve flexibility and reduce the risk of muscle strains and injury.
  2. Increased range of motion: As we age, our range of motion decreases and joints can become stiff. Mobility training can help to counteract this by keeping your joints mobile and flexible.

  1. Better posture: Poor posture can lead to a range of issues such as back pain, headaches, and decreased mobility. By improving the mobility of your spine and joints, mobility training can help to improve your posture.
  2. Enhanced athletic performance: Whether you are an athlete or just enjoy participating in sports or physical activities, mobility training can help to improve your performance. By increasing your range of motion and flexibility, you can move more freely and efficiently.
  3. Reduced risk of injury: Having good mobility can help to prevent injuries, especially in high-risk activities such as weightlifting or sports that require sudden movements or changes in direction.
  4. Improved balance and coordination: Mobility training often includes exercises that challenge balance and coordination, helping to improve these skills and reduce the risk of falls.
  5. Joint health: Regular mobility training can improve the health of your joints by promoting blood flow, lubricating the joints, and reducing stiffness.
  6. Better posture and body alignment: Not only can mobility training improve posture, but it can also help to correct any imbalances or misalignments in the body, leading to better overall body mechanics.
  7. Reduced stiffness and pain: If you suffer from conditions like arthritis or chronic pain, mobility training can help to reduce stiffness and increase range of motion, leading to decreased pain.
  8. Improved daily function: Mobility exercises can help to improve your ability to perform everyday tasks, such as picking things up off the floor, reaching for items on high shelves, and getting in and out of vehicles.

In conclusion, Flow With Me Mobility training aims to improve your overall physical health and function. It can improve flexibility, range of motion, posture, athletic performance, and joint health, while also reducing the risk of injury and promoting daily function. Adding mobility training to your exercise routine is a smart investment in your long-term health and well-being
